Committee

Raymond Reid is the current Chairman of Cumbernauld Centurions BMX Club.

With a competitive background spanning two decades in both MTB XC and also Road Racing with Chryston Wheelers, BMX was a new departure driven by an 8 year old son who wanted to go BMX racing!  Never having raced BMX before, it was a new experience for the ‘Chair’, but now firmly hooked at 43 means that the 2012 season will be something to look forward to.

Firmly focussed on promoting cycling and BMX in Cumbernauld and North Lanarkshire, Raymond is committed to ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to get into cycling, so whether it’s getting back into cycling after a long break or discovering something new for the first time, Cumbernauld Centurions BMX Club welcomes you!

Tiger on the loose...

Lynne Louden is our Club Secretary.

Lynne is brought to the club by her two sons Mark and Daniel and is fully committed to the success of the Cumbernauld Centurions BMX Club.

Lynne will sort your membership out or give you guidance on applying for your race licence.

Just don’t be hunting around for the tiger everytime you come along…

Paul Kelly is our Treasurer.

With twenty plus years as a contract and procurement professional, Paul is in a great place to look after the club finances.

A lifetimes commitment to fitness and a qualified personal trainer, Paul is brought to BMX by his young son Daniel. Not to be outdone though, Paul is the latest owner of the trusty K2 that did the rounds of the Scottish Summer Series in the hands of another committee member.

Paul’s looking forward to the Racing Series, just don’t expect the Spidey face paint at every round…

Rita Burns is the clubs Vice Chair
