Every home race needs a minimum number of people in order to allow the race to take place safely within the guidelines for BMX racing.
These individuals have taken on Race official roles in a voluntary capacity

These roles are:
Starter – The Starter controls all rider activity on the gate and ensures that Rider starts the race safely and in the correct lane.
Starter’s Assistant – The Starter’s assistant controls the flow of Riders to the gate, ensuring that only the correct riders access the start hill.
Head Marshal – Head Marshal controls all Marshalling and Rider activity on the track
Track Marshal x 2 (minimum) - Track Marshal Controls rider activity under the guidance of the Head Marshall
Finish Line Marshal x 2 – Finish line Marshals record the finishing places of each Rider
First Aid – First Aid will administer basic first aid within the scope of the HSE First Aid Certificate. Where there is any doubt or the injury is deemed beyond the scope of onsite First Aid then Paramedic assistance will be called.
Registration – Responsible for registering all Riders for the race
